Bluetooth Keyboard for Jailbroken iPhone and iPod Touch

There is nothing as easy as a full-sized keyboard for typing, especially long documents. Jailbroken iPhone and iPod Touch now supports wireless keyboard through a custom driver.

A Bluetooth keyboard was much need for iPhone and iPod devices that will allow Apple branded or any travel friendly keyboard to connect and give a faster typing job. A new application that runs in Cydia and based on open-source BT-stack project now provides with a Bluetooth keyboard driver which supports all the iDevices. However, it’s still in “Demo” stage and won’t work outside Cydia. It’s only tested to work on iPhone 3GS while iPhone 2G compatibility is not known.

How To:

Install the application and turn on the keyboard. The application will detect the keyboard and a PIN code will be generated for binding. Enter the PIN in the keyboard prompt and you’re all done!

  • Selection with SHIFT + Cursor
  • Apple Keyboard: Quick auto-connect
  • Copy/Cut/Paste
  • CAPS-LOCK key
  • Cursor keys in mobile terminal
