Alien ware are the world leaders in designing these monstrous gaming machines because they know what you are looking for, although a little bulky the M18x promises to provide excellent gaming experience. The bulky design is favored by some hardcore gamers, and the Alien ware users know about the quality Dell provides in their top notch machines.

When we read the word ASUS we are sure that the product is going to be of high quality. The G75 SX is no different. While the Alien ware focuses on “ruggedness” of their machines, the sleek design (compared to alienware) offers not only good experience but casual usage is comfortable as well. 3. MSI GT683
Founded by just four guys back in 1980’s MSI is known for its quality video cards, mother boards and of course their gaming laptops. The MSI GT683 offers exactly what their company is known for, high power extreme machine. The looks are “super cool” (yes that was unprofessional) and the design is sturdy as well. The previous laptops that we reviews had competitive hardware, let’s see what MSI has brought for us.

So, the MSI is right on for “value for money”, the ASUS sported a better GPU but overall performance of MSI is impressive. Problem comes in with support, whiles Dell and ASUS provide excellent customer service, MSI has a few tricks to learn about PR.
4. Sony VAIO VPC-F236FM
The Sony VAIO was built with multimedia capabilities. Packed with multimedia capabilities, 4G WiMax, good audio/video hardware the VAIO is built to last and face the competition it has in the gaming industry. The chassis of the VAIO are built with plastic, which strangely is heavier than its predecessor. The specs are good, but for the price difference of less than $55 between the MSI and VAIO puts the MSI as a top contender for this price range. Although Sony would provide a better customer service and better product delivery but gamers look for hardcore hardware.
5. ASUS G55 VW-E571
Last of our cherry picks for the day is another ASUS the G55 VW. It costs a lot less than its big brother the G77 but offers almost the same exterior but with a smaller 15.6” screen. All of the laptops we posted had great hardware; G55 offers the same quality hardware and very good option for the hardcore gamers. A brief look over the features should clear out the things a bit.

Well that settles the top gaming laptops, we have covered different price ranges and shown you options from which you can choose one to be your next gaming machine. In the end it all depends on the buyer i.e. what he/she is looking for in a machine, if you are looking for high end device that will give you best performance then M18x and ASUS G74 will do the trick, but if you want to hold on to cash a bit then ASUS G55 will prove to be worth it.
