It is a blessing that I was born in a time where new and innovative gadgets are announced every day. From GPU’s to processors, from headphones to notebooks, there is no shortage. But, every once in a while there comes a gadget that literally attracts you. That is what happened to me, and I was compelled to share the gadget with the readers. Now, we know that technology is advancing very quickly, and although voice assistants like Siri or Google Now will eventually take over, but there is still a lot of work required there and we will be typing away for quite some time. So, why not improve the typing quality, or some innovation; there?

The gadget under review is a virtual keyboard, great for travelling purposes and does not occupy as much space as a traditional keyboard. Instead of physical keys, the virtual keyboard displays an array of keys using laser onto any given surface and you just type away.

Doesn’t it look cool? Well, the fun, pocket sized full keyboard from brookstone is just the kind of gadget i like, fun, creative and quite handy. One thing is though, it lacks a num pad, but who cares. the keyboard reminds me of the iPhone 5 concept which showed of a similar technology, that never happened, but the good news is that you can hook it up with your smartphone and use the brookstone keyboard to type.

The keyboard is priced at $99, although not cheap, but reasonable for something unique. You can use bluetooth or microUSB to connect the keyboard with desired device and at a full charge the keyboard can run for around 2 hours, which again is not great but, there is a built in battery that you can recharge once it drains out.

With the fairly high price tag, it is not the cheapest keyboard around, you can even find a full on gaming keyboard for that. But, would you find a cooler keyboard than this? I think not.
