The latest smartphone from Sony Ericsson brings the latest in mobile technology. Its 4.2-inch display comes equipped with a Sony Mobile BRAVIA engine. It has a 1Ghz Scorpion processor, A-GPS, an 8 Megapixel camera, HDMI port, Wi-Fi and 512 MB RAM, all packed inside a slim 8.7mm body. The Xperia Arc will support up to 32GB external memory, while it comes with an 8GB card but it may vary according to location and carrier.
It runs a customized Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes with a Sony Exmor R mobile CMOS sensor which means high quality stills and videos in low-light conditions. The Xperia Arc even has a Smile shutter, “touch to focus” feature, Red-eye effect reduction video stabilizer and flash/Video light. It records 720p HD videos as well. It comes in two flavors, the “Midnight Blue” and “Misty Silver” and weighs in at 117grams.
It also offers Sony Ericsson Timescape which means all you communication with a contact falls under one place. It’s priced at $680 for the unlocked version and will hopefully be available in April. For more details see the Official Sony Ericsson Product Page.
