Samsung reveals Windows tabs , one of them is “World’s thinnest”

Samsung puts a cease to its romance with Android for the moment as it reveals its two befitting tablets based on Windows operating system.Yes ! The new Samsung tablets will not be having Galaxy brand under their belt. The two tablets, named as  ATIV Q and ATIV Tab 3 are affirming some of the new benchmarks in the modern tabs domain. ATIV Q is the most exciting and stirring tab as it features multi OS supports and comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Beans. “Users can transfer data,  files and folders  in between the two operating systems” touted Samsung representatives in the official ceremony about the release of two tablets in London.

 Coming to the hardware specifications, ATIV Q , the much awaited Samsung Tab has 9 hours of battery life and device features a 13.3-inch thin display with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels, an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM. The RAM is supported by  PDDR3, a 128GB SSD, a 720p camera, one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, and support for micro HDMI, RJ45 (dongle), HP/Mic combo, and SD 128GB of storage that is extendable. Samsung is seeking to  launch this product soon at the flagship stores as the phone market giant has experienced around $27 billion loss in the shares market. There is a QHD+ display (275ppi) in ATIV Q that makes this tab much more capable in the real time updation of data.


The most amazing part is that you can access the play store and download the Android apps  along with the ease to transfer the apps from windows OS to Android. The ATIQ Q environments supports  innovative hinge with an extremely innovative and thin design.

 ATIV 3 tab, the second pure Windows based tablet awarded as “the world’s thinnest Windows tablet” is sweeping the AQTIV Q tab in many aspects. With an  8.2 millimeters thick size, ATIV 3 tab is 10.1-inch in display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, an Intel ATOM Z2760 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and up to 10 hours of battery life. MS office 2013 is embedded as a built in feature of this tablet.  ATIV 3 tab supports USB 2.0, and support for micro HDMI, and micro SD.  The scheduled releases are very soon as claimed by Samsung.  Ativ Tab 3 is hitting the door in August having a price tag of $699 whereas the ATIV 3 tablet is due any time soon.
