Nikon Coolpix L1 is a 6.2 megapixel camera with the CCD image sensor which captures high quality images with an excellent light sensitivity. The images are previewed on a 2.5” large LCD display that makes composing of snapshots very easy. It provides three Record modes i.e. Auto, Scene and Movie featured with in-camera red-eye eliminator, Face-Priority autofocus and D-Lighting for brightening dark subjects. That’s not it; with 15 preset shooting modes it can produce a good quality image that is printable to a dimension of 14×19 inch. Its GUI is simple with user friendly main menu which can be chose between 12 different languages.
Coolpix L1 can record videos at 15 and 30fps in three different modes i.e. TV, small-size and smaller-size ranging to size of 640×480, 320×240 and 160×120 respectively. Its memory is supported by easily available SD memory cards and additionally having 10 MB of internal data storage. Although its battery consumption rate is high, but two rechargeable AA (2500 mAh) Lithium batteries provide capture enough of 400 shots. Those people whose first priority is image quality, Coolpix L1 is a considerable option for them with a reasonable price and specs.
