They call it Lidl netbook beacuse the netbook was an exclusive offer by Lidl grocery chain store on December 15, 2008. This was a reaction when a competitive store named Aldi offered some mini netbooks. The netbook offered by lidl is also called Tegra Traveler 1016. This was the first netbook offered by Lidl store and hence named Lidl netbook.
