It has been a week since the launch of iPhone 5 and Apple has already sold more than 5 million of their new device, and 100 million plus devices are running Apple iOS 6 now, the numbers are staggering and despite the issue many people raised i.e. “lack of innovation” the iPhone seems to be doing pretty well.

iPhone 5 US availability pricing and carriers

In addition to AT&T, Verizon and sprint, six other carriers Cricket Communications, C Spire Wireless, Appalachian Wireless, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellcom and CGI have notified that they will be bringing iPhone 5 to their inventory starting today.

Those who are willing to take a traditional route can get the devices on a two year contract from AT&T, Verizon or sprint will have to pay $199, $299 and $399 for 16, 32 and 64GB models respectively. If you don’t want to be bounded with a contract then you will be paying $649, $749 and $849 for respective sizes.

Cellcom, Appalachian and nTelos users will receive a $50 discount, who are offering iPhone5 16, 32 and 64GB models for $149, $249 and $349 respectively. Cricket has decided to take a different approach offering $499 iPhone 5 without a contract and $55 per month prepaid connection with free data, voice and text.

If you are in Canada 16, 32, and 64GB will sell for C$699, C$799 and C$899 (US Dollars – $714, $817, $919) which is slightly reasonable considering prices in Europe are sky high.
