iPad Mini Rumors Roundup

Apple is in the spot light again but this time with their iPad mini being in the news. Apple released their products last month including the new iPhone and the iPod touch 5^th generation although it was expected that Apple will release iPad mini in the future event which allegedly is due to take place this October. Our main concern with iPad mini (if there is any) is the price region, last month we showed a distinctive price gap between the iPad and the iPod, since iPod 5 is being sold at $299 we wonder if Apple would be able to make a tablet below the $300 zone.

Since the launch of iPhone 5 the iPad mini rumors cooled down but now they are back again, and judging by the images released and alleged specifications we could really be seeing an iPad mini very soon.

Although many details are scarce but we do have key information about the upcoming iPad mini, the supposed gadget will boast a 7.84” screen a new lightning port connector and it will be thinner than the Nexus 7. So far so great, here are a few snapshots we received, keeping in mind iPhone 5 looked exactly like what it was imagined by parts:

So, overall the revelations are very interesting, judging by the snapshots the ipad mini will use the anodized aluminum material like the iPhone 5 which has received its fair share of criticism. Apple will offer the tablet in white + silver and black + slate configurations like the i5 and will offer a 3g option as well which off course will cost more, there is a camera slot as well which we believe will be filled by a 5 megapixel HD camera.

The news gets even more interesting, Wall Street Journal revealed that iPad mini is indeed in production and it is being mass produced in Brazil. Invitations for the Apple event will presumably be handed out on 10th October and judging by that information the iPad mini will be released by 17th October, we don’t have to wait long for that. Apple is in the right place to announce this alleged tablet and if announced at the right price, it will blow away the competition
