Asus is planning to release their Garmin M10 soon, in fact it’s available for pre-order in Taiwan. The phone will use the Windows Mobile OS version 6.5.3 powered by a 600 MHz Qualcomm Processor. Although it has a touch screen but not like that of iPhone, you have to use a stylus for operating the touchscreen.

The Garmin Asus M10 offers a 3.5 inch display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels and a 5 megapixel camera at the back. The phone has a 512 MB of RAM and a microSD expansion slot for adding more capacity to your storage. According to Asus the M10 has 1500 mAh battery but no word on how long it will last on video or audio playback.

Garmin Asus M10 maybe announced for other markets this month at the Mobile World Congress to be held at Barcelona. The price before taxes at Taiwan is $430 which seems quite expensive for not so much a smart phone but still it’s half the price of HTC HD 2.
