Bing for iPad now available on the App store

A dedicated Bing application for the iPad is now available for free on the App Store. The app takes your online search experience to a whole new level, now optimized for your favorite touch screen tablet.

It offers a Voice search feature which conveniently allows you to search without the need to physically type-in the words. The home screen features an “App Bar” which lets you browse through the usual updates including International and National news and weather. It also features helpful maps and tabs that take you to discover subjects of interest from movies and music to finance and everything in between.

The App also features “Trends” which essentially tell you what others are searching for in addition to popular topics. What makes it different is that Bing lays out all this information in eye-catching tabs. Each tab gets a high quality photo and text so you can navigate with ease. It also provides multiple map views, and allows you to locate addresses on a map and even provides turn-by-turn directions and transit information in real time.
