Sidekick 4G from T-Mobile to hit shelves on 20th April
By Hamza Iqbal | April 8th, 2011This Samsung Android powered device offers specs which are pretty much identical to those on the original Galaxy S Smartphone. It offers a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen mounted over a full-QWERTY keyboard. It runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) on a 1 GHz processor and supports removable memory upto 32 GB which is plenty to store all your media files.
It has 3G connectivity along with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It also allows you to make calls over Wi-Fi. The Sidekick 4G is equipped with a 3.2 Megapixel Camera coupled with A-GPS which allow you to geo-tag your photos. Since it’s an Android device you get access to all the best applications on the Market, Apps from Google come preinstalled.
The Sidekick 4G is the successor to the popular Sidekick model from T-Mobile, it’s well worth the upgrade since this new device packs tons of great features and best of all it runs Android and seems more like a Smartphone than a just a simple texting device.
It’s available in two colors; the ‘Matte Black’ and ‘Pearl Magenta’ and will be available on April 20th for just $99. For more details see the Official T-Mobile Product page. [Source: androidcentral]
