Lenovo’s Mini PC is right around the corner [not nettop]

This is a big year for Lenovo and their fans as they announced world’s thinnest and best nettops and Mini PCs under IdeaCenter. The IdeaCenter Q700 series is a compact desktop series, slightly bigger than a nettop, and offers good desktop power. The PCs were set to release in late August, 2009, however we see no such announcements yet on lenovo’s website.

Many users complaint that nettop don’t suffice their processing needs, and yet the want a compact size too. The mini PC is a solution for them providing good specs in a compact sized box about the size of a DVD player. Lenovo is offering TV and remote with it too in a good deal of $549 having 320 GB more hard disk space than regular model and a LAN card that is missing in the regular Q 700 mini PC. The PC also offers HDMI port to connect to HD TV (comes with) and play games or watch movies. Besides this it has VGA, eSATA and 4 USB 2.0 ports and audio slots for surround sound.
