Motorola announces Sholes and Zeppelin

Motorola china have officially announced the XT701 (code named: Sholes Tablet) and the XT800 (code named: Zeppelin) and we manage to get full specs and images. Both are powered by ARM Cortex A8 processor and offers all the specs that a smartphone should have. These two additions came along with an already announced Motorola XT 710.

XT 701 (Sholes) Features:

  • WLAN (WAPI / WIFI) 802.11 b / g
  • Support for 3G (WCDMA / HSDPA 10.2M / HSUPA 5.76M)

  • 5 million pixel auto-focus camera, Xenon flash
  • Built-in gravity sensor, infrared proximity sensors, ambient light sensor model
  • Android Market support (pending)

XT 800 (Zeppelin) Features:

Unlike XT710, the newly announced models XT701 and XT 800 are suitable for Eutope and US markets along with China by offering dual-mode GSM/EVDO along with WiFi b/g, Bluetooth and 5-megapixel autofocus cameras. The previous XT710 uses China’s TD-SCDMA wireless standard making it difficult to hit US or European market.
