Last Friday marked the 500th day of the eRepublik world and along with it an important milestone – reaching the 100,000 active citizen mark. Since its launch, many new countries and functionality have been added increasing the vast number of options players have to interact among each other.

eRepublik citizens have created more than 11,000 companies and over 28,000 newspapers. Presently, there are 51 countries available, with new ones being launched frequently. The most populated countries currently include the US, Indonesia, Romania, Hungary and the UK.

eRepublik is a massively multiplayer online strategy game which is set in a mirror world where players (citizens), join in local and national politics, set economic policy, start businesses and wage wars with other countries.

eRepublik is built around the concept of a daily social experience one of its advantages over other strategy games is that it demands a smaller fraction of users’ free time (15 minutes/day), while providing them a much deeper experience for that time.
